Andalusia, a land shaped by horses

For centuries, Andalusian families have bred horses not as a business, but as a passion passed down through generations. The Pura Raza Española is not just a breed — it carries the soul of this land: elegance, strength, and temperament forged over time.

Many stud farms remain small, family-run operations. They don't advertise online. They work quietly, focused on their horses, not on marketing. Finding them requires local presence.

POLiGEN is physically located in Villamartín, Andalusia. We can visit breeders, verify facilities, document lineage, and bring you the information you need before making any commitment.

How we work

1

Tell us what horse you imagine

Breed, age, conformation, temperament, movement, intended use, budget. We need to understand what you're looking for before we start searching.

2

We visit and verify

We contact selected stud farms, visit facilities, photograph horses, verify microchip, document pedigree, coordinate genetics and veterinary work, and organize video calls.

3

Receive a complete dossier and meet the breeder

You receive documented information, photographs, videos, pedigree, price, situation, and our technical assessment. You negotiate directly with the stud farm.

Video call horse inspection

See the horse live, before you travel

We don't rely only on videos someone else filmed. We can organize live video calls directly from the stud farm, so you can see the horse moving in real time, talk with the breeder, ask questions, and request specific views.

This builds trust before any commitment. You observe conformation, movement, temperament, and facilities — all from your home, before making travel plans.

When you do travel to Spain, you already know what you're coming to see.

What we verify

Identity

Microchip reading, passport verification, and confirmation that the documented horse is the horse physically present.

Genetics

We can coordinate genetic testing for coat color, genetic diseases, or parentage verification through our laboratory network.

Pre-purchase examinations, X-rays, soundness evaluations. We coordinate with local equine veterinarians.

Frequently asked questions

How does payment work?

POLiGEN works as your professional representative in Andalusia. You negotiate the horse price directly with the stud farm. POLiGEN charges separately for the sourcing, coordination, and verification work.

Do you sell horses?

No. We don't buy or sell horses. We represent you locally, connect you with breeders, verify information, and coordinate technical work. The transaction happens directly between you and the stud farm.

How long does a search take?

It depends on what you're looking for. Finding a specific type of horse with particular characteristics can take weeks or months. We don't rush the process — we search until we find suitable candidates.

Can you arrange transport?

We can connect you with professional equine transport companies that operate internationally. Export documentation, health certificates, and customs coordination can also be arranged.

What if I don't speak Spanish?

POLiGEN manages all communication with Spanish breeders. We translate, coordinate, and ensure clear communication throughout the entire process.

Do I need to travel to Spain?

Not immediately. We can conduct the entire initial search remotely — video calls, documentation, genetics, veterinary coordination. You only travel when you're ready to meet the horse in person and finalize your decision.
